Once the Mangar Archimedes is secured to the bottom of the bathtub using its suction cups, fill the tub with water and use the up and down buttons on the waterproof hand control to raise and lower yourself into the bath.The Archimedes Bath Lift will lower to within three inches of the base of the bathtub but will only lower if there is enough battery power to lift you up again on completion of your bath. The Mangar Archimedes Lift also comes with anti-pinch flaps, which eliminate the risk of skin being trapped between the seat and the flap on transfer on and off the Bath Lift.After taking a bath, the four-way release suction cups make removing the Archimedes Lift from the bathtub simple and reduces the strain on your back.
